Archiproducts chooses Powder as “Best of Finishes 2016”

Powder concrete-look stoneware has won the “Best of Finishes 2016” prize within the “Archiproducts Design Award 2016”, a contest organised for the first time this year by Archiproducts, an architecture and design portal with an international network of about a million and a half registered users, drawn from professionals, designers and architectural studios.

The members of the jury, representing 25 of the most influential studios from all over the world, worked independently, from 15 different countries, on a shared voting platform, each contributing their own, personal vision of Design, Interior Design and Architecture, to produce the rankings.

The jury members stated several reasons for their choice of Powder as one of the winners of the "Best of" category: an original concrete-look, suitable for use on both floors and walls, in both residential and commercial locations, with graphics with soft, well-proportioned nuances and five delicate colour variants (Sand, Crete, Mud, Smoke and Graphite) that give the material an original appearance by highlighting its imperfections. The mosaic made up of micro-dot tiles with uneven edges mounted in a herringbone pattern, suitable for cladding both vertical and horizontal surfaces, and the vintage-look decors also available in hexagonal format, are particularly interesting. As well as the 75x75 cm size, this collection is also produced in the large 75x150 cm size, especially suitable for large areas of flooring.
